Breakfast Topic: Love Is In the Air
I saw this frontpage story on WoW.com
. It tells the story of two folks who met in Warcraft and are now married. No, not in the game. In real life.
I can think of a time when I would have mocked the story and ridiculed meeting someone in such a manner, but now, I think it is pretty great. It is so hard once you get out of college and into the real world...jobs, working long hours and hardly having time to feed your cat much less go on the prowl for a new special someone. If I was a single guy, and I met someone cool in WoW, I don't think I would hesitate meeting them at Starbucks after the raid.
What about you guys? Have you ever met someone you were interested in while playing WoW? Would you arrange a date? Or is it still too weird?
