Huizhou Foryou PNV-401 GPS unit sports a 20GB drive

Huizhou Foryou General Electronics has decided that the best way to improve a GPS device is to give it a rounded case, an AMD Alchemy AU1200 400MHz processor, a good-sized 20GB hard drive, an SD card slot, 128MB of RAM, USB 2.0, stereo audio out, and a 20-channel SiRFstarIII GPS receiver, as in their new PNV-401. We don't know what kind of maps it comes loaded up with, nor how much the '401 will cost whenever it's launched, but the word on the street is that we might get some more info at CES 2007. Until next month we'll just have to suffer with our paltry sub-1GB devices.
