If you've been holding back on buying a PS3 because its black finish doesn't quite fit in with your white Xbox 360 and/or white Wii, you're in luck (though you may want to speak to someone about your, uh, predilections): An outfit by the name of PS3Center.net is offering up a 60GB PS3 for sale on eBay that's been customized with a glossy white finish. You'll pay handsomely for the privilege of owning one of the few white PS3s out there; there are still six days left and already the bidding is up to a healthy $1,125.[Thanks, nino]

I'm no fan of the PS3 but still actually doesn't look half bad.
What about the warranty? Im sure they had to take it apart to paint it.
just wait till they release the wii in various colors.

I totally appreciate the guys efforts. This crap ain't easy. This is hard stuff to do. It's painstaking work not screwing up your machine. This dude is brave.
But...white? damn dude...white? yuck...That would pop so badly in my home entertainment center. Now the PS3 looks as ugly as the 360.
How bout mettalic dark blue?? Candy apple red? something with a little metal flake in it?

Those colours simply don't suit the PlayStation 3. I'm not saying they're bad colours, but they just don't look good on the PlayStation 3.

If you already own a PS3, I know an easy way to get some nice flames on it... Simply block up the exhaust vents with tape! Presto! Instant flame-y PS3! (hint: for a matching set, you can do this with the Wii and the 360 as well)
The tape on the 360 is opptional. It just speeds it up.
This is absolutely sweet. This is the most beautiful machine I've ever seen.
Why isn't anybody accusing this guy of stealing the idea from APPLE?
