Benelux clocks in about 44,000 PS3 preorders
What do the Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg all have in common? Just like Voltron, they can combine into a super-geographical entity known only as Benelux. Benelux doesn't have a nemesis yet, but it does its part to keep intergalactic warfare to a minimum. We've been contacted, but Benelux continues to smash the crap out of the alien threat. Oh, whoops. No offense, Beneluxians.
Sony announced they would have around 50,000 PS3 units available upon launch for the aforementioned territory and you know what? 44,000 have been pre-ordered. Probably more than that now. That's a very hefty portion of the allocated units, so if you live in the area, act fast and get your order in -- who knows what'll happen in the next week.
