Linden Lab: International age verification failure rate "unacceptable" [updated]

Robin Harper, Linden Lab's Vice President of Marketing and Community Development, has just put out a late update on the status of the new Second Lifeage verification beta.

Harper begins by acknowledging the very high failure rate among international verification attempts, "The failure rate is much higher than we saw in previous testing, and clearly is unacceptable."

Harper encourages those with problems to email idverification@secondlife.com with their country, information about which of the verification methods were selected, and whether any errors or quirks took place during form entry or submission, to help give them a general idea about where to focus diagnostics.

UPDATE: During the day today, Linden Lab have replaced the email address with a survey that appears when verification fails.
