Since Microsoft's Rare just released Diddy Kong Racing last week for DS, why couldn't the company deliver more IP specifically for the portable DS? Well, they could, and according to Microsoft VP Shane Kim when speaking with 1UP at DICE last week, they might. "A Kameo or a Viva Pinata on a DS makes a lot of sense in a lot of ways from a franchise perspective, " says Kim. "I think it's fair to say that we're going to continue to invest in [Viva Pinata] ... but you probably won't see it on the PSP."
We think if Kim could have, he would have ended that last statement with a little winking smiley face like this: ";)" How would you do that in an interview? Actually wink and tell the interviewee to transcribe the non-verbal gesture as an emoticon? Regardless, DS fans can keep hope alive.
