OMOS iScape, a "revolution in personal technology" that isn't

We've seen plenty of vaporware and overblown promises in our day -- Liebermann / L International Computers comes to mind -- but this gag of a "press release" really takes the cake. OMOS' fantastical iScape is a handheld music player, video playback device, 10 megapixel camera, HDV camcorder and phone, with a 4-inch touchscreen, 24-bit surround sound and mobile DVR. To top it all off, the built-in "Scape Button" allows for personal teleportation (based off of Google and Yahoo! Maps coordinates, naturally) and "full bodily transcendence and transmigration of ego and superego" (let's see your iPod do that!). Plus, when you juggle three iScapes, a wormhole develops into an alternate dimension, which is a pork-based mirror of your own reality -- we kid you not. All this can be yours for $395 (5GB) or $495 (12GB), and you'll probably see one in your hands by the time L International ships its first product and Phantom launches its game service.
