Logitec's Bluetooth headset brings wired nostalgia
The best part of a Bluetooth headset should be its lack of wires, right? Not so if you're building the buds for Japan's Logitec. The LBT-HS200C2 Bluetooth 1.2 headset brings plenty of tether to your untethered stereo audio experience. At least that blocky slab supports A2DP stereo, AVRCP remote control and the ability to pair up to two devices simultaneously -- say, your Bluetooth-enabled DAP and cellphone. On sale in Japan starting late April for ¥7,800 or right around $65.

Japan has a Logitec, not a Logitech!
no kidding.. i hate it when engadget messes this one up (which they do every time).
I have multiple cell-phones and other gadgets which require proprietary headphone connectors (or just prop headphones).
This is just godsend as I can have the phone in my pocket and not have to worry about having the right plug/connector.
Also, I can use this as a wireless Voip headset for my computer.
So yeah it rocks, and ear-mounted bluetooth devices are for dorks.
Engadget you should know better. Bluetooth is not JUST about wireless anymore
But Engadget is right- the whole point of such wireless headsets is to not have to plug them into anything. I might as well go out and buy the (cheaper) proprietary headset for my phone then spend money on these.
But I'll do neither, and wait for a better Bluetooth headset.
This is perfect.
I bought my wife some noise canceling headphones to go with her macbook and iPod. Now she can use them basically wirelessly.
Come on imports!
Oh...maybe this doesn't let you use your own headset.
Blahhhh.
OMG the iTech R35 has existed for quite a while:

AND it lets you plug in your own headset! I use it, for exactly the reason as an poster above put it: no more carrying multiple connectors, adapters for me. You can get the R35 for around $50 on ebay.
