Microsoft eyeing land near Nintendo of America

A Nintendo of America executive recently confirmed the company has been taking bids for a 27-acre site just north of its headquarters in Redmond, Washington. One of the bidders happens to be Microsoft. According to Perrin Kaplan, vice president of Marketing & Corporate Affairs for Nintendo of America Inc., selling the land is unrelated to Nintendo's recent employee shift where several key departments were relocated across the country. She added "Microsoft, of course, would bid for [the land], because it's so convenient for them".

Our theory? Both Nintendo and Microsoft will construct a series of networked tunnels connecting the buildings deep underground. There, their teams will launch a secret anti-Sony propaganda campaign. Step three: profit.
