Keepin' it real fake, part LX: JetWay's mini-ITX PC strikes a Wii pose
It doesn't take a blatant knockoff to land you a KIRF badge, sometimes it just takes a bit of "inspiration." In this case, it's pretty clear where JetWay was getting its ideas for its latest VIA and AMD-based mini-ITX PCs over at Computex 2007. No shame in the game, we can imagine worse form factors for those parts to end up in.

are we really expected to endure every single minipc being compared to a wii? will every portable video player invariably be compared to the iphone? for christ sakes, some forms just make sense. uATX + ps = about the size of a wii, get over it. if anything, i'd say nintendo was inspired by via, not the other way around.
You, sir, are a baboon.
Er, have you blocked all images in your browser or something? Look at the shape of it - it looks like a small base with a rectangular unit resting in it at an angle. The angle thing is what's important; it's the defining design feature of the Wii (which is otherwise a relatively featureless rectangle). And this PC copies that design feature...
Stupid rektide, it *looks* like a Wii.
i really dont see the resemblance. they share the same functional pieces: optical media, power button, two socket thingies. but the aesthetics dont seem in any way "inspired" (gaudy? yes!). i guess the tray marks it rip off? they have the same pieces but i dont think they look the same at all, they just seem to share a form factor to me.
Eh, whatever.
It looks Wiily ugly
sorry dude didnt reply properly
surely when the point of design is minimalism there would be less combinations for variety. next question: have you heard of the rule of thirds?
you sir are a very feathery tasting pink flamingo.
