The good news is that the official Windows Mobile 6 Professional update for the
Treo 750 is just around the corner; the bad news, though, is that you probably can't have it yet unless you're lucky enough to live in one particular corner of the world. Following
countless incognito shots of WM6-sporting 750s in the wild, an imminent official announcement was pretty much a foregone conclusion -- though we admittedly never suspected Australia would be the first to get the hookup. Specifically, customers of the Australian branch of Hutchison 3 will be able to download the update free of charge starting mid-month, with "other customers" following on in September. Whether "other customers" includes AT&T is unclear, but we're keeping our fingers tightly crossed.

And Engadget actually goes by a Microsoft lover's blog? Not that I have a prob. with it, I read it all the time. But Engadget? Wow. I'm just amazed that you guys actually go around those blogs.
I agree, that theme to too flat to be WM6 unless they have simplified it but that would just be silly.
You know, what REALLY amazes me is that
a) Australia gets something first for a change and b) People are always so surprised when engadget posts microsoft news. I think the mac-haters are getting to your brain...
I wish Cingular/AT&T would say something, anything about 8125/8525 upgrades to WM6.

I'm on RC3 already....the really really final release of the wm6 for treo 750v *that's what they said to me when releasing RC2*
