Cinemassively: The Pilgrim's Plight
Many machinimators feel inspired by movies they saw, or video games they played. Gnomechewer, the creator of The Pilgrim's Plight, found himself motivated by Fallout, a game that dates all the way back to 1997! In his World of Warcraft version of the old game's intro video, Blood Elves are enticed to live in Sunwell under the leadership of Kael'thas Sunstrider. However, the "new utopia" was more than they bargained for, and they sure paid the price!
