General Tips:

  • Most of the Trophies for NOVASTRIKE can be easily obtained by playing the game on recruit mode.

  • On the harder difficulty modes you will have to learn how to use your afterburner in a more strategic way. Instead of boosting towards your enemies you'll be boosting away from them to regain your shield power so your ship itself does not sustain damage to it self. I call this the hit and run tactics.

Heralder No More - Destroy a Heralder carrier on any difficulty
Bronze | Difficulty: Easy
The first Heralder in the game appears during the first level. It is the 5th objective of the stage. Defeating this aircraft is fairly easy on recruit mode. On a side note remember not to collide with any of the aircraft you fight, escort or defend. It almost always kills you instantly.

Broken Falchion - Shoot down a Falchion destroyer on any difficulty level.
Bronze | Difficulty: Easy

It is a bit harder than a Heralder carrier. The only difference between the two is that you have to stay clear from the front of the Falchion. If you are in front of the Falchion it will fire its own type of vulcan cannon which can diminish your shield and ship health very fast. Using the heavy rocket or disperser is a good choice in weapon to use against these giant foes. (Best completed on recruit mode).

Champion of Praxor
- Finish the second stage on any difficulty
Bronze | Difficulty: Easy
The first objective of this stage is a simple destroy base objective. Best way to do so is to boost away when your shield energy is running low. The best weapon to use on this type of objectives is the Shredder. The Shredder has an auto lock-on system which helps out a lot. The second objective is an escort mission. Yes an escort mission. With that said it is not as hard as it sounds you must defend human shuttles 4/8 must survive. Best way to do it is to keep an eye on the front 4 shuttles and kill anything that gets close to them. This is also when they introduce enemy fighters that shoot Heavy rocket. A single rocket is shot that delivers a very damaging blow. Try to intercept these guys fast. Third objective is a defend human colony objective. Also very easy as long as you have it on Recruit mode. Intercepting your enemies is your best bet. Next objective is to destroy Draelus air base. Again using the Shredder weapon is your best bet. Depending on how long you take to do this objective a Falchion destroyer will appear during or right after the objective. See Broken Falchion trophy on details to defeat this foe. Next you must make your way to the comm. base. Once there you will have to defend its comm. Towers, 1 out of the 4 towers must survive. After that in the same area you must defend the human colony again. The stage is now complete. As a side note, most objectives do not need to be completed in order to complete the stage. The only objectives necessary to complete would be to destroy Draelus base ones. (Best completed on recruit mode).

Destroyer
- Destroy 500 aerial opponents on any difficulty
Bronze |
Difficulty: Easy
If you destroy most of the air units you run across in the game you should get this around the third or fourth stage. Destroying Heralders and Falchion count towards the 500 units. (Best completed on recruit mode)

Defender of Khara - Finish the fourth stage on any difficulty
Bronze |
Difficulty: Moderate
Stage 4 is a fairly short stage. Best thing to do is just to skip the first objective since it is not needed to complete the level. There is only one main objective to this stage and that's to destroy the Draelus portal. In order to do this you must make your way and destroy four portal generators, They are marked on your map. Again just use the Shredder to destroy the generators. Once they are destroyed you make your way to the portal itself to destroy it. It too has four points in which you must attack it. On occasion fighters, falshions, heralders and aggravators will pop and attack you. You should know how to deal with these foes already. (Best completed on recruit mode).

Ground Sweeper
- Destroy 200 Draelus ground structures on any difficulty
Bronze |
Difficulty: Easy
If you destroy every Draelus ground structure you run across you should get this by the fifth stage. This by far along with the destroyer trophy the easiest to obtain in the game.(Beast completed on recruit mode) Searer

Extinguished
- Destroy the Searer on Tolak on any difficulty
Bronze | Difficulty: Moderate
The Searer appears as the final objective on stage five. Other than the fact that this is the coolest looking aircraft you will fight in the game, it's the hardest foe in the game not counting the final boss. The Searer has multi-missile lock on (2 at max) and constantly deploys electro-mines from its rear. A good strategy to killing this foe would be to boost in front of its course and deploy some electro-mines your self. Use the hit and run tactics for this foe as well. The heavy rocket weapon along with the disperser are the best weapons to use for this. (Best completed on recruit mode).

Master of Arms
- Unlock the final ship on any difficulty
Bronze |
Difficulty: Easy
The description of this trophy can be confusing but to put it simple. All you need to do is upgrade all your weapons on your ship to the max level to unlock this trophy. To get upgrades for weapons simply destroy the air fighters on each stage. This trophy should be obtained by the sixth stage. (Best completed on recruit mode).

Savior of Tolak
– Finish the sixth stage on any difficulty
Bronze |
Difficulty: Moderate
Finally the sixth stage. Not quite done yet but just a stage away from the final boss. Right from the get go your objective is to destroy a Draelus generator. Of course the Shredder will do the job. Next is yet another escort objective. You may skip but then you wont have the Dragon aircraft to assist you on the rest of the stage. Either way a Falchion will appear and you'll need to get rid of it. The next objective can also be skipped. Again whether or not you choose to do the objective or not a Heralder will appear and you'll need to get rid of this bugger too. The next objective can also be skipped if you don't choose to skip it then you will have to defend research shuttles. 4 out of the 10 must survive. Next is another defend objective which can be skipped. Finally, the final objective of the stage is next. This one cannot be skipped. You must escort the rebels to the portal. Eight rebels must enter the portal. There is one problem, the area around the portal is fortified with multiple hangers, anti-air batteries and launch platforms. You'll have to boost over to the portal and start destroying everything to ease the numbers of your foes. The rebels will keep on sending rebel carriers until eight of them make it trough the portal so don't panic if you lose the first six rebels on your way to destroy the area around the portal. If you find your self over powered use the hit and run tactics. (Best completed on recruit mode).

Legendary
- Defeat the game on HARDCORE difficulty
Silver |
Difficulty: Very hard
This is the hardest trophy you will have to earn this game. These silver trophies stack up. Meaning if you were to beat the game on hardcore mode you would also get the trophies previous to this one (Unstoppable, Reckoning force and challenger). It is best not to start of on hardcore mode especially if your trying to get the other trophies. We recommend that you first do recruit mode to get the other trophies and get used to the game it self. Once done with recruit mode move on to soldier mode. This way you can finish off getting any other trophies you have not gotten and get used to not having a lot of lives. Finally skip Veteran mode and jump right into hardcore mode. Unlike any other mode you will not have any extra lives. On top of that the activity of enemies will be at its max. This is where must start to utilize the afterburners to your advantage. The hit and run tactics will be the key to beating the game on this mode. For the most part you can and should skip every and any objective you can. You do not need to complete all of the objectives in a stage in order to beat it. You only need to beat the ones that involve you destroying a Draelus base. As a true trophy junkie you try to find the simplest and easiest way to obtain trophies. Bad news, there is no easy way in getting this trophy. You will need determination and patience if you don't have either this is not a trophy you are worthy of. The same concept for this trophy can be used to get all other silver trophies.

[Hidden] Don't You Die On Me
- The friendly rebel Heralder must survive through the end of Khara (Stage 3)
Bronze |
Difficulty: Moderate
During the third stage you must escort a Heralder, this is the ship you must protect throughout the stage. The largest threats to the ship are the highlighted enemies (those with a red marker), the anti-air turrets and the large enemy ships. Be specifically on the lookout for the Aggravators (A.k.a the Kamikaze ships that collide on impact with anything in their way. Intercepting these is your prime objective in this. Make sure not to collide with them yourself you'll definitely die. Try using your vulcan cannon to deal with them from afar or use the multi-missile launcher which will lock on to them from afar as well. Another thing to remember is since your trying to get this trophy you can skip many objectives in this stage and just focus on keeping that Heralder alive. (Best completed on recruit mode).

[Hidden] Abrupt Ending
- Prevent the Harbinger from reaching its final destination
Bronze |
Difficulty: Moderate
The Harbinger stops at different bases. While at these bases is becomes invincible. You must destroy the shield conduits it anchors on to the base floor with your Shredder to make it vulnerable to your attacks again. When the Harbringer makes its first stop its best to then go on ahead and destroy all other Dralus bases so you can focus more on taking down the Harbringer. The Harbringer has a constant vulcan cannon but its not as deadly as the Falchion's. The Harbringer also constantly shoots out mini air fighter which you can use for your advantage. Around every eighth mini air craft you kill a health booster will pop up which not only regains your ships health but also stocks your weapons ammunition back. It is helpful to utilize this little buggers to your advantage. The Harbringer makes 3 stops before it makes its last stop. So try to take it down right after its third stop. Heavy rocket weapon works well against this foe. Try using electro-mines and the beam weapon to destroy it faster. (Best completed on recruit mode).

[Hidden] Perfectionist
- Defeat the game on any difficulty without failing any objectives
Bronze | Difficulty: Moderate
Complete the game while completing all objectives. If at the stage clear screen you receive 0 points for any objective then that indicates that you failed one. While trying to obtain this trophy if by any chance you mess up on an objective best thing to do is kill your self to restart the stage. No point in completing the stage knowing you missed an objective. (Best completed on recruit mode).
