Julian A asks: Can I use an external USB HDD as my PS3 HDD instead of getting a new internal one? Or does that not work?
PS3F answers: You mean you want to use it like a memory card, right? You won't be able to do this. Almost all games incorporate an auto-save feature which links to your primary storage, the internal HDD. The system is not designed to read and write data to an external HDD for in-game purposes. You can, however, use it to back up your entire system, in case you are worried about corrupted files and other data loss problems.

Jono B. asks
: I was just wondering if THIS hard drive would work if I replaced it with my current 60GB hard drive. Also, have you any tips on stopping your PS3 from being full?
Majed answers: Yep, that particular HDD will definitely work with your PS3. In fact, it's strikingly similar to the one I have installed on my console. As for tips, just make sure you delete any trailers and demos you won't need. Those files take up most of the space on an HDD. Also make sure you delete any mandatory installs or game/save data you wish not to keep -- though, save data is usually a trivial amount.

Conor M. asks: When you have purchased and downloaded LittleBigPlanet DLC, can you download it again, even after it has left the PS store?
PS3F answers: If the content is removed from the store, it won't be available for download again simply because it's been removed. That rarely happens, if ever at all. If you are wondering whether you can re-download DLC from the store in case you've deleted it from your HDD, then yes, you can -- at least most of the DLC that is available can be downloaded to the same owner account multiple times, if necessary. Also, most DLC can be downloaded and shared between five PS3 consoles. So, if for some reason you have five PS3s in your house, you can have the DLC on all five.

Cody K. asks: When does the 160GB PS3 come out?
PS3F answers: Cody, it's out! Go get one!

Kiet R. asks: I'm not really into strategy RPGs, but I played the demo for Valkyria Chronicles and it was really good. Do you think there will be a PSP version?
PS3F answers: We're remembering back to E3 when it was accidentally mentioned that Valkyria Chronicles would be on PSP. That mistake actually opened up a lot of interest amongst us here at the Fanboy, and we'd be really interested in seeing a portable version. Honestly though, it's really too early to tell such a thing and Sega would probably not be ready to talk about something like that. The game just released this month and Sega will still have to see how the game performs in the numbers. If it does well, then who knows if something could be worked out.
