iriver's P10 PMP finally to see the light of day?
We've been drooling over iriver's P10 ever since June, but it looks like CES might finally be the PMP's time to shine. Iriver has one of its trademark teaser sites up for CES 2008, and the P10 is up in all its glory. Among other interesting specs, the player runs on a 1.3-inch hard disk drive, sports T-DMB digital TV, a 800 x 480 4-inch LCD, 600Mhz processor and TV out. The P10 controls with iriver's bezel touch tech, but it's unclear if there's a touchscreen here -- seems unlikely. Still no word on price or when this thing is going to hit the market, but it seems like it's just around the corner.

very nice
Yes...that looks very very nice!!!! They need to stop playing and release that soon.
Wasn't there just a recent post that the maker of the 1.3" and 1.8" drives was scrapping them due to ssd market push?

it does have touch screen as you can see from the videos on the site

FAT
looks pretty neat... but is it really as enormous as it looks? or are those just tiny hands?
Exactly what I was thinking.
it does have a touch screen cause on the other pics, theres a stylus pen
Give me specs and dates cause it's killin' me
Give me specs and a us release dtat cause its killin' me!!
PS: any news of sony pmps yet. I know its not the place but I'm lookin' for them to hopefully up the ram and give us in the USA a reason for buying their pmps (got the NWZ-S618 & it's DA' BOMB)
Exactly how did that player just come up when they are at the stage of launching the W7 PMP?
Curiously, if you go to iriver's teaser P10 page, there's an interesting panorama pic of every single part, chip, and nail... quite unnecessary. And does Cowon and iriver share the same PR agency? Notice the "33% smaller" text. Well, I can't imagine any player being 33% bigger! And the other PMP featured isn't the W7/W10...
Curiously enough, the Koreans aren't exactly hyped about this. You see, iriver decided to give their natives some say by listing their responses below the teaser page. Just two words... "sorry sony". Ha.
33 gigabyte hard drive... good move. I was hoping it wouldn't be 8 or 16gb flash.
Looks like they might have dropped the bezel controls for a touch screen?
Here's hoping for 720p H.264 support and decent battery life.
In pic (8 of 10) Two captions of note are:
"IRIVER TOUCH SYSTEM" and "STYLUS PEN"

Pretty Pimp of a PMP. If only they'd make it more of a MID PMP and include some wifi for RSS newsreading and podcasting.
