You know our nerd hearts beat deep for the just-released open-source modular Bug Labs gear, and Mahalo Daily's Veronica Belmont caught up with Jeremy Toeman for a quick little demo. We're not sure exactly why you'd want a motion-sensing camera with the lens on the opposite side of the motion detector, but hey -- let's see your iPhone do that. Biased? How can bias freaking apply here? There aren't 2 parties, so one party isn't being favoured. I hate it when people just use buzz words like bias to make themselves sound smart when really it just makes them sound like asswipes. Widen your vocabulary, or at least grasp the meaning of the words you blurt out at the moment.
Personally I don't mind all of the Veronica Belmont, she's a great reporter, and she looks nice. What's not to like?

I'm with Tom - I don't get it. Veronica has a hot name, but she's just meh IMO. You wanna talk about Scarlett Johanson and I'm all over that.

The case is their best and worst feature. When you're prototyping, the case isn't exactly necessary.
This is definitely a product to help with prototyping. It reminds me of a high tech breadboard.
Sure, I just think there are other companies with better products for the same purpose. It seems like Bug Labs has the best marketing though.

It's neat but of course it needs to be a lot smaller. I can see this being important in a few years with an open io/power bus and driver ecosystem. I hope it's based on USB, no need to reinvent the wheel.
And (I hate to do this, but can't resist) she may be RB's girlfriend, but she's charismatic and professional. May be that's why he's dating her, what a user! ;)
The module locations are interchangeable on the base so the motion sensor can be placed on the same side as the camera. This thing rocks!
