Here you have it. iRobot's latest domestic robot, the Looj. Turn him loose in your gutters and you can remote control the little green varmint until the floods return. Click through for the video to learn all about it. You'll be happy you did.
What happened to a water hose? Also while this is shooting leaves out of the gutter what happens to the leaves that get kicked back on top of the roof?
the reviews on amazon are pretty horrid too. i really wanted one of these but they just don't seem to work.
on a slightly related note... did anyone notice there's a 120 model and a 130 model? apparently the only difference is the 130 is the 120 with a holster. yeah a holster. this may be a leap of faith, but after reading all those veronica comments i'm pretty sure us gadget folk as a whole don't need any additional help looking like dorks.
Whats with the interviewer? He's just making goofball comments . I wait to read them when I get here. If he let her talk more we might have found out whats under the hood of that thing . (replaceable battery ect.) thanks pal
My dad bought one of these for the free month offer they had a couple months back. It had some issues. The antenna would get caught on the nailes that hold the gutter on. The holster wouldn't attach if you even one bit of roof grit on the looj. Charging the looj was a pain in the ass. You had to remove the battery out of the side. No easy to access port on it.

Gutters? To each his own.
Looj?
For some reason, looj sounds like a brand of laxative...

choose the rotation that shoots them to the ground instead
Better yet What happens when the battery dies, or weakens, while its up there
and is it just me or was the camera man being sarcastic
I'll buy this when it can also difuse bombs and fend off an insurgent attack.
There goes my squirrel jihad on your roof!
Nice. I'll wait until woot unloads them for half price a year from now.
Tekzilla tested this product (http://revision3.com/tekzilla/looj), it just doesn't work.

I like reading Thomas's posts in the early morning, it's good to see he's having a good time.
