Autobot flash drive probably isn't licensed, doesn't care
We know how you Transformers aficionados roll -- you'll spend your very last dollar just to ensure your collection stays complete. That being said, we'd probably recommend skipping right over this Autobot 1GB USB flash drive, unless you dig (likely) non-licensed gear cluttering up your pristine heap, that is. If you're still letting your heart cloud your mind, riddle us this: what legitimate piece of Transformers kit requires you to purchase 12?

This would be a pretty good gift for most kids. But I woulda went a different route... small toy models of Starscream, Bumblebee, Optimus and Megatron on a keyring.
Smart People Play Tuba @ Feb 4th 2008 2:49PM
What does it change into?
Chebwa @ Feb 4th 2008 2:54PM
A non-licensed Autobot flash drive...? It probably changes indiscriminately into 1GB of free space.
StrangeBum @ Feb 4th 2008 3:11PM
I believe it changes into a portable porn collection. Because what else are flash drives good for?
;-)
Neebs @ Feb 4th 2008 4:01PM
Sometimes you make a portable Firefox browser, but yes sometimes the porn.
Sometimes both.
Carbonize @ Feb 4th 2008 5:17PM
Not to mention Pocket K-meleon, Open Office portable, Clam AV portable, Notepad++ portable, Portable CCleaner, A few sysinternals programs, GIMP portable, Filezilla portable, Xammplite, PSPad, etc etc etc
Oh yes and some dubious pictures discreetly hidden a few folders deep in directories with names like tmp.

Carbonize @ Feb 4th 2008 5:19PM
Didn't you know that Hasbro stole the idea for the Transformers from Apple back in 198*. Soundwave was the original concept for todays iPod and Megatron came from Apple's military division. Jazz was based on Jobs' car at the time.
skulldriveshaft @ Feb 5th 2008 1:35AM
Autobots != RED
This drive is infected!
Nathan @ Feb 4th 2008 5:06PM
I would have guessed that you're even more ridiculous than this unlicensed flash drive for posting your ridiculous website at the bottom of all your comments.
Carbonize @ Feb 4th 2008 6:58PM
Damn we both look like idiots now that someone at Endgaget has deleted that muppets posts.
Carbonize @ Feb 4th 2008 5:14PM
That's why I've just reported every post he's ever made since they all contain the link.

Wow, click on the combo pack at the bottom of the page, and look how huge and dorky this thing is.
yehaaa6 @ Feb 5th 2008 5:12PM
they didn't even put the lights in the eyes where they belong!
tonym @ Feb 6th 2008 5:42PM
Did you see the picture of it on the lanyard. That thing is HUGE for a flash drive.
Carbonize @ Feb 4th 2008 3:44PM
Forget the size. According to the specs on the Read link this thing weighs 8.2kg :|
mesatchornug @ Feb 4th 2008 4:51PM
Item Weight(in kg): 0.017
Carton Weight(in kg): 8.20
Carton Quantity: 120
no worries. they're not 8.2 kg, but per 120.
Also note, they come in Decepticon as well...
Carbonize @ Feb 4th 2008 5:14PM
DOH! that's for the carton of 120 :|
Just shoot me now.
z3r0D @ Feb 4th 2008 7:55PM
Ya...
But if you get this thing, i think you'll want everyone to know you have one.
Carbonize @ Feb 4th 2008 10:03PM
Could wear it round your neck Flavor Flav style.
Thumbs Up @ Mar 12th 2008 9:45AM
Just to clear a few things up. This USB drive *is* licensed from Hasbro and people don't have to buy 12 at a time - that's just retailers, as the product page that's linked to is a wholesale site.
It's the place where all the new products debut though, so sometimes bloggers are a bit quick off the mark when looking for new stuff and pick up misleading info.
