SanDisk Sansa Fuze leaked?
Accessory maker HandStands appears to have a Sansa Fuze 3-in-1 accessory kit -- but SanDisk doesn't yet have a Sansa Fuze, you feeling us? We don't know much more than that at this point, but from what we can see it's either a big mix-up, a not-half-bad photoshop, or a forthcoming player that looks to take on the iPod nano. Full-size ad version after the break.

Judging by the size of the earbuds that thing is closer to a nano in size, not classic. (Unless someone looks like Dumbo)
looks like the sansa clip to me
Kamokazi, good call, updated.
its sansa view + sansa clip = Fuze
hopefully they fuzed in the clip sound quality
looks pretty sweet...16 & 32 GB plz?
Reminds me of my Creative Zen V+
ugly
Cool. Hope it doesn't use the same craptastic UI as every Sansa player since the e200 series. I dislike the UI of the new Sansa View's for its lack of sexiness as compared to the new Nano and Zen and was hoping for a change which never came.
In one way, SanDisk did influence Apple... by implementing the far-overdone Helvetica. Just a small observation.
nice.
Doesn't anybody see the resemblance to a View with the top half chopped off? The music menu icon is cut off, too. A smart photoshop job, but it looks like the View to me.
it's on handstand website and also on the latest sansa firmware updater. I think it's as real as can be.
Really? Is Sansa so hot that folks are going to the effort to photoshop possible future products? Seems like photoshopping a new GQ laptop.
My Sansa e250 may be 2x as thick as an iPod Nano (1st gen),
but with rockbox, it does a whole lot more... even plays movies.
It's what the Nano fatty should have become.
anyone know what happened to that sandisc exec that threatened to cut her hair off if zunes sold better over xmas?
Well, SanDisk did request a trademark for "Sansa Fuze" late last year, so I'm pretty sure the Fuze is an upcoming device (http://savolainen.wordpress.com/2008/01/20/ces-wrap/).
I don't know, I could be wrong and all, maybe SanDisk is throwing us off the trail of their project to launch a missile to destroy obsolete spy satellites. Oh wait, that's right.
I had the Sansa e260, and liked it...decent sound quality and very rugged...I used it every day for hours (commute to work) and it musta been dropped 50,000 times in 2 1/2 years or so, until it started to have some issues with the input jack... (When something can last that long with me...it has to be decent quality).
So, when I needed a new player, I went with the View... What a friggin' mistake. Complete piece a crap...such a flimsy unit with no build quality relation to the e200s... I couldn't find a good case for it so I was being angelically kind to it, and still...the damn thing began to split along the seam a bit and then the input jack wasn't secured so it just cracked where the solder is and no sound.
Luckily it was under warranty.
Switched it out and upgraded to the 16gb ipod Touch. I have always avoided ipods...but I have to admit...it is a thing of beauty...and great build quality.
I guess Sandisk thought they could ride on the laurels of the e200 series and saved big on by making chintzy units. Well this fuze looks like it is more a View than an e200 so.... you are warned...
It's gotta be real. This morning, Amazon had it for sale ($99) with long-term shipping date. I put it in my wishlist to look at later. When I checked it again a couple hours later, it was gone. No mention of anything like this on Amazon as of right now.
I think someone make a mistake.
Now we all know that Fuze exists))). It is to be regretted that i couldn't get case like this in Sansa Store http://go.shopsansa.com
