France's NRJ-12 migrating to HD, more to come?

While few HDTV owners in Europe actually take the time to sit down and enjoy any HD programming (at the moment, at least), that's not stopping NRJ-TV from forging ahead in its mission to deliver more and higher quality HD content. Apparently, the broadcaster has teamed up with Quantel in order to bring on an all new cultural and events-based channel (NRJ Paris) and simultaneously migrate NRJ-12 to high-def "in the coming months." Interestingly, the release also states that it hopes the recent partnership will enable it to "gear up its offerings, especially in HD," and furthermore, it's planning to "focus on the quality of its HD production and multiplatform output." Sure, we're not told that any of its other channels are destined to go HD, but we're digging the chances.
