Video: SusiVaders makes us long for Microsoft's spherical Surface
Remember that rumor of a spherical Microsoft Surface bouncing around the labs of Redmond? At the time, we didn't get it. Now, imagine if you would the combination of a multi-touch sphere with these 360-degree games from SusiGames. Oh sure, the games have been kicking around art shows and design exhibitions for several months now, and rely upon a modified Wiimote and decidedly non-touch-sensitive SusiSphere for interactivity. Nevertheless, the union of the two concepts sure is tantalizing. Check the game play after the break.

Can't wait for the Doom/Crysis comments.
Spherical doom doesn't make a whole lot of sense, does it now? In fact, not many applications work well on the outside of a hemisphere. A concave surface would probably be much more useful because, apart from anything else, people gathered round it can see all points on the display. The only issue would be that it would rapidly fill up with the drool of ogling geeks.
In fact, check dis:

Im as tired of people saying they expect Doom/Crysis comments as the people actually making those comments. It's like you want to ask if it plays Doom yourself but don't have the guts because everyone will flame you.
Second!
*Sigh*
Haha! Am I the only one here that is reminded of Douglas Coupland's magnificent invention (in jPod)?? :-)
No, you're not. This is even more pointless.
I'd like to see it playing Tempest
you need to be able to rotate the sphere with your hands, like some big crazy sphere..
Dumb
Well, that video didn't last long.
lol
Ha! They made Space Invaders for this instead of Tempest? Shows what they know...
