Swarovski-studded LG 47LB90FD LCD HDTV makes grand entrance
LG's Xcanvas line of LCD HDTVs look mighty sexy as-is, in our humble opinion, but we're certain a little extravagance can't hurt. The 1080p 47LB90FD has a surprisingly sparkly base that's doused in Swarovski crystals, and as you can likely glean, it'll only be released in limited quantities. Sadly, the nitty-gritty details on this thing are few and far between, but when you're talking about a ritzy ?3.3 million ($3,204) HDTV, who needs a contrast ratio?

I believe the word is "tacky"
garish would be an even better one
Better not be blood diamonds!
Id like to stud her.
Uh, she looks awkwardly skewed.
The photographer is too tall...
Ugh, they should have zoomed in a bit. :P
Looks like a crystal-studded codpiece like you'd see in a Mad Max movie.
there's a TV in that picture?
I just want to see a lower angle shot.
If she could only hike up that skirt an incy wincy bit...hot damn!
So that's 3,204 for just the tv, lol ... (stupid crystals lol) The us would likely sell it for 3299 or 3199 or 3150... 04 is amusing, I am sure its just conversion rate screwing up the price point and that amount makes sense in their currency.

Thriller Michael Jackson would be proud.
i'd bang that LG girl and show her life's good
wow, that's clever. you remind me of that parody by Maddox where he makes fun of the Epic Movie producers: "did you see our new receptionist? id nail the shit out of her. with my dick."

i love my lg tv, but I would love her more
Great, I see I wasn't the only one who noticed the skewed picture.
But some of you guys need to leave the basement a bit more often and stop drooling over models/human props. Geez...you make the rest of us guys look bad.
O
even if its something that doesnt concern me (tech wise), I compulsively have to click any engadget post featuring an asian woman just to read the comments. I could care less about the actual post.
Me too. I'd consider it a sign of the end times if one of these posts had more comments about the product then the woman.
a good tip for engadget to go on to increase page views.
@jay, you should have said "I couldn't care less...." - you said you could care less which means you care at least somewhat. FAIL!
SOOOOO if u wanna wall-mount the TV you gotta lose the fancy crystals :S i dont see the point
hmm....wall-mount...asian girl in picture....hmm
what's the obession with S'ski crystal, and why do people think it's valuable? It's only heavily mineralised glass, it's not diamonds (which incidentally aren't rare and only valuable due to de Beer's manipulation of the markets with the dubious cooperation of various governments).
Agreed with the stupid crystal obsession. This is a trend that really needs to stop. Do people really want to spend that much on something like this? Not only is it tacky as hell, it also attracts unwanted attention (which is bad if you don't want your phone stolen). If you really want glass studs that badly, just go shatter some tempered glass.
/me encrusts the prescriptive grammar lemon with Swarovski crystals
