Teclast M26 user interface looks a bit familiar
Teclast's M26 seemed vaguely more interesting than the dozens of other garbage, status-quo portable media devices that get pumped out of Chinese factories on a weekly basis -- and now we need not spend any more time wondering just where they got their design, um, inspiration. At least Meizu's M8 sexed it up a little -- this take is just a bit depressing.

Hmm... looks a bit familiar.
I know! Isn't that a similar interface to the Microsoft Zune??? No, that can't be it...
Agreed.. it looks like the uh, hmm.. what's that thing called again?
Okay, price should be waaay different from iPod. Happy?

Just want you to note, I waited for g=five minutes and didn't see my post coming up so I'm reposting.
Expect that the time stamps show u only waited for three minutes !
Guilty :(
Except*
Looks familar... can't quite put my finger on it...
Put your FINGER ON IT!
I hope you did that by accident. Funnier that way.
This does look familiar.
:o!
This comes free with a rotating pac-man!
More proof that China is great at [re]production, but not innovation.
Boy, this story has been out, what, four days?

Comment Fail
I mean, this is not news. Least not in the fast-paced PMP world where I come from.
News, news, new, *checks CNN*. hmm, it appears that half the stuff posted here never made it to the real "news"....OHH!!! THATS RIGHT!!! This is a blog! Not a news site. Meaning, they can post pretty much anything that they want thats gadget related. I guess you dont remember the good old days of Phillip Torrone then do ya?

Talk about some amazing hacks and tricks. But awe man, what a shame, its not news so it never belonged here. That, by the way, is what lured me here originally. Phillips amazing hacks and creations.
I mean, this could've been news if Engadget used my tip. I did tip you first Engadget, and you know it. Same M26, same source, and even better writing.
whaa? new iPhone? oh. its not.
App store is just around the corner...
Looks...
Familiar???????!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can Engadget stop blogging these copycats? I don't think it's positive to promote these copycats for free.
does this kind of article + round of comments look like a promotion to you?
"Can Engadget stop blogging these copycats? I don't think it's positive to promote these copycats for free."
So Engadget should maybe get together with other blogs in a type of pan-web effort to never report on devices like this?
Exactly why again?
No one should be in the business of censorship just because you "think it's positive to promote these copycats for free."
Whatever that means.
Stop with your bitching. You didn't have to blog this you know in the first place you know.
OMG, it's a list of stuff. That's SUCH a copycat. Apple has a patent on how to display a list!
I will have to admit I'm lost on the whole premise of this article myself. The linked site doesn't even show enough images to determine anything close to what this posting is saying.
It doesn't seem the least bit strange that every person immediately recognizes it as the list view used specifically on the iPhone, as opposed to all these other lists that apparently exist?
This is weid I ordered a teclast flow 2 minutes ago, Coincidence, I think Not!!
I'm sad the meizu m8 became vapor ware...
think ima just get an omnia then. (v.v)
Oh, it's YOU.
@ Ocean (im not 'clak')
