Brando's USB M.A.D. Game Pad has removable steering wheel because it can, darnit
Let's face it: you don't have nearly enough game controllers and accessories adding to the spaghetti that is your entertainment center. This USB M.A.D. Game Pad gives you the option to remove a little steering wheel for those moments when you're not driving about. Compatible with Windows Vista, XP, and 2000, this Brando product is available for $20. So, why? Apparently this thing is meant for the gamer on the move -- it's small and light, measuring only 4 x 2.5-inches and weighing in at a dainty 3-ounces. As for the size of the steering wheel? It's tiny. Really tiny. For tiny people with tiny fingers. Can you feel the love?

Don't be a noob and reply to somebody near the top just so people can see you're comment. Do like everybody else should and just post a comment like everybody has to do.
Shadowise @ Jul 25th 2008 12:26PM
Perhaps that should be "Vista, XP and 2000".
As for the controller, looks like gimmicky junk.
Will @ Jul 25th 2008 12:42PM
No, actually, it shouldn't be.
You leave off the comma before "and"
Will @ Jul 25th 2008 12:43PM
Er. Oops.
Pochi @ Jul 25th 2008 12:58PM
I don't think so. Leaving out the comma before "and" is not the best choice these days.

It said "Vista, XP & 200", that's what I was correcting. Looks like they got in quickly and changed it.

Don't discriminate against us Windows 200 users. If you continue to do so, I'll send you ASCII hate graphic....
Now please excuse me, my Tandy Graphics are almost finished installing.

@High Ranks:
Windows 200 FTW.
@Will
I prefer serial commas as well, but it's not a requirement.

Thats exactly what I thought! Maybe I can finally get past those damn axe wielding rival circus beavers on level 9!!!!

Since when do unicycles have steering wheels?

Check out the ergonomics on that puppy! Looks impossibly less comfortable than the Sega Genesis controller.

I'm sorry, but every time I see Brando mentioned, Ididocracy comes to mind. For many, many reasons.

I think I'd rather have a case of Brawndo, The Thirst Mutilator, not Brando the Game Controller (Brawndo actually now available, look it up).

Whomever designed this has got to stop watching animated movies that star a talking mouse.

The Most Asinine Design gamepad by Brando
Jon @ Jul 25th 2008 2:24PM
At first i thought the controller was gigantic
I'd much rather get a 360 controller for a bit more money, it's designed better and is already compatible with many windows games

Not even ONE analog stick? Really? :(

Hmmm... that wheel placement reminds me of Namco's Jogcon PS1 controller they released for Ridge Racer R4. The idea was good, adding a wheel to a gamepad to avoid having a full wheel taking up precious living room space, in reality though it was very awkward to control steering with your thumbs at that angle. Of course.., the Jogcon also has forcefeed back, which was pretty bitchin'

Wow, I had no idea anyone else knew what this controller was. I had one and it worked on precisely zero games apart from Riiiiidge Racer. It was a terrible design and I think I used the wheel once ever. I don't recall mine having vibration though, which is strange.
Anyway, I bought a PlayStation to USB converter so I can relive those memories on my PC now.
