If Swords & Soldiers, the side-scrolling WiiWare RTS by Ronimo Games, didn't already have such an excellent style, we'd be calling for them to switch to the look used in this video explaining how the game works. But would that hew too closely to Defend Your Castle's DIY look?
As for the gameplay itself, it looks delightfully simple. You send soldiers and other units from your castle on one side of the screen to your opponent's castle on the other side, and they do their thing. Workers gather gold from the enemy castle, warriors hack up dudes with their axes, and so on. Rather than sitting helpless as your soldiers are mauled, you'll have access to spells, which you aim with the pointer.
Maybe we can compromise and convince Ronimo to keep the voice acting from this video.
