Keepin' it real fake, part CLXV: Nokia 5800 XpressMusic gets a little friend
Nokia's 5800 XpressMusic isn't exactly in the same league as some of the other high-end touchscreen smartphones hitting the market right now, but that doesn't mean it's not getting the Chinese KIRF love -- and we'd actually say the flush-mounted touchscreen on the Li 5800 here is an improvement. The generic OS is obviously less attractive than S60 Touch, but not by much, honestly, and although the real 5800 should be pretty cheap on contract, we've got a feeling the Li here might undercut it significantly. Too bad they didn't stick a random micro-projector in there, eh?

Dear God.
As for the 5800 it's Nokia's entry level touchscreen and by 'entry level' that means it has features that make other smartphones gently weep.

I wanna know on what facking drugs was the author of this post when he wrote this?
Though I agree with Nilay's comment that the OS on this is only slightly less ugly than Nokia's, I also have to agree with matic50 and ask what kind of drugs Nilay was taking when he wrote that it's not in the same league as *other* high-end touchscreen smartphones. The 'other' suggests that Nilay here thinks that the 5800 is intended to be high-end, which obviously shows that Nokia has done a good job as they've fooled yet another supposed tech expert into thinking that their mid-range device was aimed for the high-end.
