HANNspree trots out SD7021 / SD80M4MB digital photo frames
Go 'head HANNspree, get on down with your bad self. With the holiday season fast approach, HANNspree's looking to exploit that need to get your ma and pa something special -- and by special, we mean completely predictable. To that end, it has introduced the 7-inch SD7021 (pictured) and 8-inch SD80M4MB widescreen digiframes. The former includes an auto-rotation feature, slideshow functionality, inbuilt calender, 3-in-1 memory card reader and 8MB of internal storage, while the latter arrives with three interchangeable faceplates (one shown after the break), a pair of frame stands, audio / video support, an alarm clock, remote, 6-in-1 multicard reader and 256MB of built-in storage space. Both units are up for grabs right now at $49.99 and $99.99 in order of mention.

NICE but I dont see the point of these useless devices has anyone ever used one before.
Professional
Fusion Fuzo
Still more useful than your non-contributing comments.
You realise it says your name right above your comment, right?
INTERNET ARGUMENT! :D
Hardly a professional if you can't even use apostrophes or periods.
Professional at being a pretentious asshole?
*Click* You have been PROFESSIONALLY low ranked!!
Not only can Mr. Professional not use apostrophes or periods, he also doesn't know the difference between "here" and "hear." So, apparently he's sorry to "locate" these comments. Perhaps he needs a professional grammar book.
- The Fusion Fuzo Watch: FUGLY comments - Day 4.
''Lowest Rank'' I am more professional than you, I have more qualifications than you, and plus I work in the technology industry, so I have a lot more experience than you about what people like in gadgets, nobody is going to buy that useless picture frame. and I am low ranking you again for being a troll, your comments don't contribute in anyway
Kind Regards

Dear Fuzion Fuzo,
I hate you.
Sincerely,
BJ is gooder.
@Forex - I'm glad someody else has noticed this moron's comments always containing the word 'fugly'. Keep up the watch!
Dear Fusion Fuzo,
We are sorry to locate that you professional opinion about our product is so bad. Have no worries... after a careful inspection of your qualifications, we have concluded that our marketing staff has indeed failed and you are right. We have decided to declare bankruptcy and retire from the gadget industry.

Professional
Yes fusion, you could be a professional, although it's more likely that you are a 65 year old child molester (unless that's your profession)
LOL @ urandom, I am 23year old highly skilled professional, don't make me take off my NICE professional belt

Bad news, Fuzo...you're still an idiot.
I'd explain but you still wouldn't get it. Better for you to look it up yourself. Word of the day: Homonym.
In the UK "hear" is spelled "here"... Yeah, I'm calling that foolish nonsense.
1. The Oxford English Dictionary does not include a definition of "here" as a verb, which it would if the spelling was interchangeable, but also...
2. The BBC spells "hear" in the context listening as "hear" (http://www.bbc.co.uk/worldservice/news/2008/09/080908_english_spelling_wup_sl.shtml)
Now that we have established that "here" is not a verb and that one of the worlds most prestegious news agencies spells it correctly I am deeming your post: "Stuff and nonsense."
Colour me what you will.
@ folex
yes here is a uk word, so HAH

Yall postin in a troll thread
Fusion Fuzo, are you for real? Or are you just some bored 13 year old kid with too much time to spare?
@Folex
here
1 in, at, or to this place, point, case, or respect ⋄ I am pleased to be back here
http://www.collinslanguage.com
or type 'here on google UK' as it is a word
actually Fusions right for once 'here' is a word in the UK maybe not in the USA but is in UK
Obviously, you cannot read.
First, an adverb is not a verb. (Check your professional grammar book)
Second, you should also have read the definitions, in your link. They clearly provide definitions of place or position, and no, an exclamation is still not a verb.
Third, the Oxford English Dictionary is not the same as the compact Oxford English Dictionary you linked to. The OED is 20 volumes that is one volume. Don't confuse the two.
@ Clak - "here" is a word in the US too. It has the same definition in both places but does not refer to the action of listening. Read your own definition.
@DooM - Yeah, we (I) know, he's a troll... but he's an amusing troll and stupider than your usual iLoyalist.
@ Folex
''Here'' is a UK word
The BBC's international with reporters from various country's so words will be differently
This is incredible: a post in which the two most hated people on Engadget: Clak and the Professional Asshole are allies against us all... it's going to be a TROLLspree :)
Mr. Professional Asswipe,
I am the lead director of managing all technology systems for the west coast and Texas branches of a well known nation-wide lawfirm. I am the number one contact for all things web, networking, software and hardware and I oversee a dozen offices with approximately 1000 machines total. To get into my certifications and qualifications is beyond the scope of the argument (and digital photo frames) and to do so would look akin to a stock ticker. I make approximately your post count in dollars per hour, and I am a year your junior.
As soon as you pull your professional head out of your professional ass, you might gain a little respect.
@@Forex
here is a word used in England, UK,
Isn't it ironic that Mr. Professional is just about the least professional person in terms of conduct here? A bit laughable, in fact.
Being a "professional" doesn't make you qualified to talk about any of these matters more than being a customer does, or an end user, or a manufacturer, or an engineer, or a lawyer, or a (see where I'm going here?).
In addition to which, Mr. Professional never really stated what he was a "professional" at! Pray tell, Mr. Professional? Considering that virtually *all* of your posts are lowest ranked, I think you've officially given phanbouy and clak a run for their money, and daresay beaten them.
@ highest rank & sharky
Can either of you provide a citation from a reputable source that defines "here" as a verb meaning to listen or to perceive with one's ear or some such definition? Like I said in an earlier post, the Oxford English Dictionary (OED) does not define "here" as a verb. The OED is generally considered the authoritative tome of the English language and contains both US and UK spellings as well as the roots of the word.
Man, you need learn how to use these: "," and ".". They are very useful.
Also, since you're a "professional", it would be good to you to understand the difference between "hear" and "here".
Gosh. I wouldn't hire you.
Dear Lowest Ranked,
I am your managing partner. Now quit trolling and get back to working on that eDiscovery issue.
Regards,

Well I am still professional and a Professional IT Technician no matter what you all think, So HAH

Fusion Fuzo
and that, my friends, is how you close an argument.
Minus 1 internets for Fusion.
Now back on topic. Was that pic taken before or after Axle got his ass handed to him by Tommy Hilfiger at a club? I think this was him trying to convince Mr. Ali to give him free boxing classes.
I wonder how long it will be before someone makes a high resolution, decent quality digital photo frame.
More importantly, sanely priced.
When LCD TV companies find it a good gimmick to put card readers in their HD TVs.
@ joe23521
Their already sanely priced (unless by sanely priced you mean more expensive). $50 is hardly a lot to spend on a 7inch lcd display + plus the extra bits and bobs that make it show pics.
The problem is, they are universally crap.
I would spend quite a bit more for a frame with a decent resolution, colour reproduction and contrast that would actually make the most of my photos.
Full colour e-ink would be awesome.
Actually, my mother-in-law really wants a digital picture frame so she can endlessly rotate pictures of her grandkids, so there is a point to 'em. Think of it as a photo screensaver without the computer.
I haven't done a huge, huge amount of research on these, but regarding features and pricing, these don't look like too bad a deal. I'm not familiar with HANNspree, but there's gotta be a reason Engadget's posting it.
HANNspree products are garbage. Engadget used to bash them big time. i.e.
http://www.engadget.com/2008/04/28/hannspree-reinforces-claim-on-ugliest-tv-in-existence
Two post of HANNspree in a day? My thought - truckload of money dumped on engaget's driveway?
But 50bucks, what the heck. If you do decide to buy it, KEEP YOUR RECEIPT. I know you'll need it very soon ;-)
You could probably find a WAY better deal somewhere.
@ZaxCG2
Did you read eddy's post? He is buying it for the in-law. The gift should be cheap but not looking too cheap =P
just bought 4 of the lower end 7" hanspree. ok, worth the price i got them for. however (and this was not stated anywhere except in the manual after you buy and open it) they will not properly handle images over 5mp. so, for me it was faily simple fix, i ran an automator in os x and decreased all images i was uploading to 25% less and they worked after that. just try and check that out first before you buy.
great... now you can downscale all your nude images of Jenna Jameson in a lovely slideshow! Beats hitting the SPACE bar while your right hand is busy! :P oh joy!!
Can you tell me how to do that? How to reduce my photos by 25% b/c I'm having the same problem and I bought this as a gift for someone : (.
-swalter
haha, "mannspree."
HANDspree ;) *chuckles cause he made 2 pr0n jokes today*
Please tell me that graphic was pshopped!?!
"3-in-1 memory card reader and 8MB of internal storage"
Damn!
Hot specs. I can put all my photos on it's internal memory.
...BTW Mr Professional is an ass.
I'm loving the Fuzo-bashing.
When I read his comments, for some reason I hear a very stoned Jean-Claude Van Damm's voice.
Mr. Fusion Fuzo, Professional, if you're reading this, here's a few of tips:
1) Don't try to out-geek the geeks with your creds. Nobody here cares about a tech opinion that doesn't stand on it's own merit. An appeal to your own authority will surely attract a flame if not a low ranking.
2) Maybe try to use a handle that isn't so...er... pretentious and/or narcissistic.
3) Do not reply in indignation--it's like a bleeding fish's struggling that arouses the feeding frenzy on you. It's truly fugly.
I hope you find these tips helpful. I give only professional advice.
All sweet and sexy, but say, why does a 256MB photo frame have "4MB" in its name?
I wish you hadn't included Ali in that picture because I wanted to crack a joke about washed up HANNSbeens.
