MAXIAN M1T Pocket Multi TV does the PMP thing like it means it
No use messing around in this space, if you're gonna build the umpteenth 3.5-inch DMB-capable PMP for the voracious Korean market, you might as well put some heart into it. MAXIAN's new M1T Pocket Multi TV shines with 8GB or 16GB of built-in storage, SDHC expansion and just about every codec imaginable, including the extra-sexy ones like OGG, AAC, DivX and XviD. The whole kit is running Windows CE 5.0, with what looks to be a resistive touchscreen (480 x 320) and a purty home-grown interface. No word on price, but it's not like we'd have much use for that DMB antenna anyways. We're not bitter.

Someone may downrank me just for mentioning it, but, after owning an iPhone, I certainly could not take any PMP that doesn't have Wifi, web browsing - and can't access Youtube downloaders.
DMB is good, but that's not enough

the most ultra sexy codec out there is h264, looks like it is supported as well.

Koreans like the antenna there for TV watching - they are addicted to their soaps/novellas. The American market will not be able to use the antenna for TV after Feb 2009.
Though, honestly, it is smaller than their GPS units which already provide the TV capability.
My guess, this is for the myriad of subway riders in Seoul that need to catch the latest episode, but it seems like a test product to try and compete in the already competitive Korean PmP market.

When will the PMP's support our HD signal? Are there any technical limits (other than poor reception) that would prevent it? I wouldn't mind getting a media player that will also watch OTA TV. An added bonus would be to support one of the streaming media services that you can get via cell service.

here we go again with a pussy 16 gigs, 'Pussy Media Player', yea i kno, i kno fade me out whatever, just kinda dissapointing to see after all these years most players are having hard problems maxing out, yea i kno flash is better, less power, faster and i agree, but its 16, and you know i might be happy with a 64 flash when they come out, but 128 id shit myself right now

Why would people want to get this player when most of the cell phones nowadays have TV functions built in? And with lot of other functions? (Anyway, is people still watching TV? I have not been watching one for almost 3-4 years after i'm in love with the internet)
