The rest of Toshiba's CES 2009 extravaganza

We can't definitively say that Toshiba is done after this (never underestimate the depth of CES, friends), but we're bundling up the rest of the middling minutiae from its blowout at CES. If the fresh REGZA HDTV line is just too big, awesome and expensive for your tastes, the company is busting out a smattering of LCD TV combo sets ranging from $299.99 to $549.99. Furthermore, it's introducing a trio of portable DVD players, three DVD players and four DVD recorders. Unlike most of the gear showcased today, Tosh actually bothered to provide prices and ship dates for these, so head on past the break to get those tidbits.

Focusing on functionality and versatility, Toshiba's full line of feature-packed LCD TV
combos is available in 15, 19, 22 and 26-inch screen sizes (measured diagonally), and
each of these space-saving sets features a thin profile and a design for the style-conscious
consumer. With the February 2009 digital TV transition quickly approaching, many
consumers are in the market to purchase a new digital TV to replace an old analog set.
Toshiba's LCD TV combination lineup includes a built-in digital tuner in every model.
In addition to the extensive features detailed above, all of Toshiba's new LCD TV
combination models will meet ENERGY STAR 3.0 certifications.

Portable DVD Players
As consumer demand for entertainment on-the-go continues to evolve, so does Toshiba's
line-up of portable DVD players. For 2009, Toshiba adds a new nine-inch player with a
striking contemporary design featuring a pearlescent white finish and a 180 degree
widescreen LCD swivel screen. This model features dual headphone outputs and
supports MP3 and JPEG playback and is DivX® Home Theater Certified. For the
ultimate traveler convenience, the included battery pack provides approximately five
hours of playback time. The unit also boasts an SD card slot and comes complete with a
car cord adapter. In addition, Toshiba's new seven-inch model features a widescreen
LCD screen, dual headphone outputs, supports MP3 and JPEG playback and includes a
car cord adapter.

DVD Players
According to industry data, the DVD player category with HD upconversion has grown
significantly, and to meet consumer demand Toshiba offers two upconverting DVD
players, one with XDE™, eXtended Detail Enhancement technology, so consumers can
get the most out of their extensive DVD collections. To continue to support Toshiba's
commitment to environmental responsibility, Toshiba's DVD players will meet
ENERGY STAR certifications.

DVD Recorders
Toshiba's new line-up of two DVD recorders features 1080p upconversion capabilities,
HDMI™ inputs, Auto–Finalization and high-gloss black cosmetics. The line offers
