Want RC33 without the wait? There's a way, G1 user
T-Mobile's taking its sweet time in rolling out RC33 to the masses -- but as usual, there's a way to skirt the process and fast-track it if you're so inclined. xda-developers has come through with the official, signed update, and all you have to do is rename it, drop it on a memory card, and reboot the G1 with a key combination to kick off the magic. Not quite as easy as stuffing your face with Twinkies while idly waiting for the goods to magically show up over the air, but to quote the immortal Tony Robbins, "it is in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped."
