NintendoWare Weekly: Paper Airplane Chase, Cocoto Platform Jumper

If you've been keeping up with what's headed to WiiWare and DSiWare, then this week's downloads will likely be of no surprise to you. These are games that we've either talked about already, or that have hit their respective platforms in regions elsewhere. So, without further ado, let's get to this week's content.

DSiWare

  • Clubhouse Games Express: Card Classics (Nintendo, 1-8 players, 500 Nintendo DSi Points): The latest in Nintendo's stripped-down DS games for DSiWare, this bundle includes classic card games such as Blackjack and 5 Card Draw. It even has support for download play, if you have some friends who are sitting around your place bored with DSes for some reason.

  • Paper Airplane Chase (Nintendo, 1-2 players, 200 Nintendo DSi Points): In a freak combination of the classic board game Operation! and paper airplanes, players must navigate small, paper airplanes through tricky mazes, making sure not to bump into any of the obstacles. There's a two-player race mode, as well as a Time Attack mode and an Endless mode.

WiiWare

  • Cocoto Platform Jumper (Neko Entertainment, 1-4 players, 700 Wii Points): Formerly a PAL-only PS2 game. If the previously released Cocoto Fishing Master is any kind of indication of this franchise's worth, then you'll want to avoid this one. We recommend you play it safe, though, by unhooking your Wii and hiding it in a closet or something for a couple of hours. You know, just to be sure.

Virtual Console

  • Nobunaga's Ambition (Super NES, 1-8 players, 800 Wii Points): Back in the times of feudal Japan, everyone knew little Oda Nobunaga. He was a kid with big dreams, and he willingly shared with anyone that would stop to listen. But, little did he know that an honor higher than conquering just about everything in sight would be his some day: he'd be in the vidya gamez.
