Video: iClooly stand gets extra cleepy, iPhone 3G / iPod touch support

It sure took awhile, but the iClooly aluminum stand has finally been updated to fit your second generation iPod touch or iPhone 3G. Set for release on February 18th, the pivoting and rotating stand still costs ¥4,980 in Japan or $47, um, $54 Stateside. While the rising Yen could account for the delay, there's no way we could possibly explain the motivation for producing the iClooly video posted after the break.

But about the actual product I don't think it's very good because it looks like it's been designed so the iPhone fits in a cradle which doesn't work with people that have cases. Aren't there better ones that clamp around it and can be adjusted?

Since Phil Schiller's Keynote performance was not up to snuff for Steve, all future keynotes will be animated by PIXAR.
Apple's annual keynote will be a two hour computer animated feature film that will be released in theaters around Thanksgiving.
You will be able to go to your local multiplex buy a $10 ticket for the keynote and find out about all the new products.
iSteve and his friends iBill and iPhil will be doing the demos.

I think the icooly stand is great if your ipod touch or iphone doesn't have a gel cover or some other type of case. But the idea of removing the gel cover on mine every time I want to use the stand is what makes me not want one.
