Datel kicks the retro up a notch with Famicom Wii controller
If dropping 80 bones on a Wii Super Famicom Classic controller sounds a wee bit insane, how's about a Jackson for a Famicom Wii controller? Datel's Old Skool Retro Controller (seriously, how great is that name?) works with any game that supports the Wii Classic Controller, and the unique "rapid fire" mode should really keep things interesting when firing up the Virtual Console. Can't really go wrong at $19.99, right? Right.

consoles suck PC gaming ftw
As a PC gamer, I'm going to have to ask you to GTFO.
board and dice ftw
Console gaming succeeds over PC gaming for the same reason Wii succeeds over 360/Ps3.
Though the 360/PS3 and PC are SUPERIOR to the Wii, the Wii is the cheapest system and the most unsophisticated gamer experience on the market.
$250 for a Wii is a hell of alot less than a $400 PS3/ $300 360 / $1500 gaming PC.
And the Wii doesn't get viruses like a PC can or require alot of knowledge to download patches/fixes.
As much as I HATED the Wii's games even I'll admit I am attracted to buy one just so I can play the Virtual Console TurboGraphyx16/Genesis and NES games I grew up with.
Sweet. How long until we see this with a NA/EU skin?
Not quite a Famicom controller but rather Famicom-colored third-party trash.
+1 for the first person to make a good point in this thread.
It's not a real Famicom controller without the built-in microphone. That was the best random, uncessary accessory ever. But great when playing the old baseball game.
I love like double twice speak talk terminology words such as "old skool retro"
Seriously, so what would new skool retro be? Or modern retro?
I'm missing my Retrocon right now. Madcatz really needs to make an updated version for the PS3 with bluetooth, PS button and tilt sensors and without the wandering calibration that afflicted all the Retrocons I tried.
