Sony begins advertising Advent Children Complete in Japan
Sony has been gaining a lot of momentum in Japan, thanks to a number of high profile releases on the system: Resident Evil 5, Yakuza 3 and Street Fighter IV. However, no single brand will probably shift the Japanese market more than Final Fantasy. The upcoming director's mix of Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children is a Blu-ray exclusive, and Sony is more than happy to present the upcoming movie as, essentially, a PS3 exclusive.
Included with the film is a demo of the upcoming Final Fantasy XIII, the first numbered Final Fantasy game since 2006. The title is exclusive to PS3 in Japan, and you can be sure that SCEI will take out a number of ads highlighting that fact.
