Why is everyone pimping the Weather? I know it looks cool, clouds, Sun and all, but sheesh, it's not that interesting.

iPod touch owns this category , since it was released in oct of 2007. The day a better pmp comes out I will eBay my touch , until then I'll own the most dominant pmp of all times. I'm sure u all agree.

The PSP is a lot more popular. Its browser includes flash, has video out, rss, internet radio, so on and so forth. Best feature though is that the memory is both expandable and hot swappable. 16GB @ ~$75
Just had to add that it also interoperates with both Location Free Players and PS3s where you can stream live TV and movies. Also remote play via PS3 where you can stream and play games. Has Skype, DLNA, RSS, etcetera. Accessories like GPS, Camera (with video) 1seg TV Tuner, so on so forth. In contrast the iPod Touch is totally lacking features (and the PSP is nearly 5 years old!!).
oh yeah, and it is only $129 whereas the iPod Touch is $229.
Oh yeah and its at least 500% bigger. Just throw your psp in your front pocket and you are ready to go! I will admit that getting media onto the device(psp) is easier!

Don't just say "touch screen"! They could make it resistive..... that would stink.
I hope they do a very nice *capacitive* touch screen.
It will make all the difference for me on this player.
I find capacitive screens to be overrated, yes they are nice but most do not work without a finger. If you need to click something really small you can't even use your finger, you just wish for the best. They also don't work if you have gloves on. I'll be happy with any good-responsive-modern resistive screen.
I can't see myself purchasing an mp3 player, no matter what it does (...ipod touch/phone owners...) unless it has at least 30gb of space on it (hence, why I own a Zune right now (Zune30, I got it for 60 bux)). And realistically more than 60. I have 50gb of music right now and I don't like having to pick and choose what I can listen to. I want a convergence device that actually converges devices instead of just a device that sort of lets me do a couple things.
Real media players don't have screens.
