ASUS Eee PC T91 arrives at the FCC
We spent come quality time with ASUS's Eee PC T91 netvertible in Germany at CeBIT, but those of you looking to handle one Stateside don't have long to wait -- it's just popped up in the FCC database, and we're sure Uncle Sam's engineer friends are busy scouring the SAR reports for all kinds of super-interesting technical data as we speak. Or they're just looking for pretty pictures like we are -- and sadly, they'll be disappointed, because all that's in the listing so far is this picture of the bottom. Another Saturday night ruined -- thanks a lot, FCC.

FIRST!
to fail
{Posted- Don't feed the troll}
So this is how you spend your valuable Saturday nights eh Peter? Just trying to be first commenter on blog posts? Oh wait, I'm wasting my Saturdays too! XD
its saterday?
In some parts of the world, it's still Saturday.
Why doesn't somebody create a simple comment filter that auto-bans and deletes all childish "first" comments?
What i find childish is the constant whining when someone comments "first". Not only do you feed the troll by complaining instead of ignoring them, it is also a very small annoyance in my opinion that doesn't warrant attention.
Sure engadget's got gadget geeks, but I bet we'd complain less if it was a chick's bottom.
This might be the Eee I buy for myself. Who wants touch screen along with being a small computer? I do!!
I can easily see this turning into an easy way to take notes during class. It is not much bigger than a paper notebook!
Not a good choice
FRIST!!!!11
I was somewhat excited about this, but now hearing that the Windows 7 touch features won't work on non-multitouch devices, I'm wondering if I should hold off and wait for Asus to come out with multitouch netbook... I mean, they make a million variants of everything, so you figure they'll have to make one eventually.
Why does the FCC, who receives millions, if not billions of dollars in funding, still use that dirty blue cloth?
Making pretty pictures is not their job, so why should they care?
Please tell us when it becomes available!
Also, how much is thing going to be?
Thanks!
I think the T91 and T101 are to be available by May/June.
is anyone ever going to come out with a Multitouch capable tablet (or any tablet) with a 15.4" screen?
bueller? bueller? .
bueller?
So excited to get one of these. Probably buy the t91 keep it for 6 months and sell it when the next asus tablet gets announced and I can get Win7.
yeah thats what im gonna do to. Assuming this thing is $500, and a multi-touch tablet is released in the fall, I can sell this one for maybe $300 and then pick up the new one for $500-$600. I consider it like spending $200 to rent this laptop for half a year or longer, not bad in my opnion.
