Zeemote JS1 wireless controller syncs up with the G1 for game time fun
We've already seen the Zeemote JS1 bring wireless nunchuck gaming action (and its vaguely copyright-infringing name) to Sony Ericsson and Nokia handsets. Now it seems the device is leaving those corporate ventures behind, going open source and syncing up with HTC's G1 as shown in the video below. The game the demonstrator is playing doesn't look like much fun (surely some sort of abstract re-imagining of Cosmic Ark), but more entertaining games will likely be showing up in the Android Market soon -- assuming they don't do anything with tethering.

HTC make G1?
Oh yes.
As if you come here and don't know that.
I dont know how i went through my life not knowing...
I have an HTC, its not like im completely ignorant
HTC were there when the G1 was announced. There was news about it for months on here during development. It's on XDA Devs.
a solution looking for a problem.
The "game" looks like a calibration tool :)
I agree with oakie, this seems to necessitate a built-in attachment for your mobile rather than being another device to occupy your hands.
This is cool and all but what's the point of this if developers aren't getting behind it?
Is there one game made by Gameloft or EA that takes advantage of this?
I'd buy one if the price was reasonable. They could add some other functions to it though. Put a microphone in it and include some dictation software, put a pen and/or stylus made to work with the G1's screen on one end, and ad a pocket clip. If they did all that it would then be useful. Of course they could also make it be a blutooth headset to.
