LG's other Black Label, the BL42 slider, gets exposed
Remember that slightly stouter but still rather obelisky-looking Black Label cousin of LG's BL40 we spied earlier this morning? We've now spotted a lot more pictures of the thing -- and its crimson slide-out keypad. Dubbed the BL42, it sports light-up nav buttons, a 240 x 320 screen, and what looks to be the same five megapixel camera found in its slightly taller brethren, specs that should allow it to slot quite neatly into the Chocolate lineup -- at some indeterminate time and place in the future.

Mmmm, Pink
I don't know man, I'm seeing red from here.
Nevermind the color, is that a bezel? I am faily confident they could have just fit the keyboard on that huge empty area instead of making it slide...
you both are wrong... it's clearly salmon
Jean P.:
Read the article, it has illuminated touch buttons.
Ahh. If only the LG logo was somewhere else
Nope, its "cherry red"
Oh so is this just a stretched chocolate? Hope it (if it is the one) lives up to the video we saw a couple days ago cuz that promo was sweeeet!
That video was about the BL40, this is the BL42, it's a huge difference.
Sure, whatever.
If only they came out with this 8 years earlier because then maybe the razor would have had some competition.
Hello, uncomfortable keyboard.
Just get an iPhone/WinMo or Android (notice I did not mention nokla)
Everything else is crap, especially LG.
What about blackberry? And i cant believe someone who doesnt have a problem with winmo would dislike s60.
Just get an iphone, android, palm, blackberry or a normal phone like this.
everything else is crap, especially Winmo
RED ROCKET RED ROCKET!
That looks schweeeeeeeet. Finally more choices. I hope the OS is good.
Samsung better watch out. You too Nokia.
LG really needs to modernize their logo.
That outdated logo is such an ugly eyesore that completely tarnishes what is otherwise a sleek, clean look.
I mean, seriously. At least get rid of the circle logo and just go with the letters LG.
Completely ruins the look.
View of the navigational pad.

Looks like a bitch to use, but it does look sexy as hell.
They gave so much room for the arrows and soft keys then they have the logo and a bunch more wasted space at the top, the screen could easily be twice the size. And maybe its the pink but i don't think this phone looks sexy at all. It looks like something moto would throw out the door as some variation of the razor.
I know! This phone needs to look more like it's sibling. the BL40.
This phone looks ok though. except the spot under the logo probably is
going to be a directional keypad which will probably be pretty sucky.

Why is it I have a feeling that the potential Verizon version of this pone will be that smaller, black keyed version in pictures 4 and 5? Hope I am wrong about this, because this was (I had hoped) going to be my next phone :(
That is a second edition LG Chocolate

That just looks like a lot of wasted space to me..even with the "touch sensitive buttons".
yep, you go on enjoying something that hasn't changed since the 90's..
