Motorola Morrison engineering sketches emerge, has Android written all over it
Okay, so maybe there's not literally any text penciled in on these drawings, but if you've been looking for multiple angles of Motorola's sure-to-be-forthcoming Morrison, these are about as good as it gets. Not surprisingly, the design here seems pretty conventional; for all intents and purposes, it's just a QWERTY-packin', full touchscreen slider smartphone with all the makings of a sub-$100 (on contract) Android offering. Hit the read link if you're eager for more, and go on grab another handful of patience while you're at it.

that translation is hilarious! i wonder if this is going to be a cheap gsm for tmo to add to it's menu.....
Im waiting for a new android phone to drop before i upgrade but this phone is beyond ugly.
come on hero
i just wish it was coming on tmo... not sprint... i dont want to switch... but i love the hero... i may go for the mytouch and put the hero rom on it.. i've heard it works great.... but yes.. the hero is very slick...
i just tried chatting with a sprint online rep and she had no clue what i was talking about when i asked about the hero...
I never thought a sketch could look better than the actual product.
Moto you seem to impress me.
Haha.
Epic fail. The keyboard, it's all 2's.
Who can text with that?!?
Or N's.
haha

Am I the only one who thinks this looks a lot like nokia's n97? (the front part at least)
No, that's exactly what I thought when I first saw it. Totally N97ish, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I think Moto will have to do more than just come out with a well-worn design, throw Android on it, and expect for the best. I'm all about Sony Ericsson's new tinkerings...
I have android written all over me...........I get bored very easily.
omg, a dpad on the left side
Android suck
OSX > Android
Go be a dumbass elsewhere.
Here's the part where I pray it comes out for AT&T.
If the rumors of a 3.2" inch screen is correct we're looking at a device with the following dimensions:

Quite slim, a lot less bulky than the G1.
I'm glad Motorola's finally building a revolutionary phone. This thing looks NOTHING like the G1, or the Nokia N97, or the HTC Tilt, or the HTC TouchPro2...
Oh... Wait.
Moto lost my business long ago when it crushed my hopes and dreams with the RAZR. And the moto phone I had before it, can't even remember what model it was, that was how bad it is. This phone would have to cook me breakfast every morning to actually get me to buy it.
Android? The left button under the screen looks like the classic Windows button to me.
There's no way it's an Android phone. Ever since 1.5, manufacturers have given the physical keyboard the shaft for all Android devices...
If this has Android written all over it, why the hell does it have a Windows Start button right on the front?
I was wondering that too :-)
