The Engadget Podcast, live -- now!

It's DROID launch day and you know what that means -- we're doing the podcast live. Join Josh, Paul, Nilay, and a cast of USTREAM thousands just below the break -- it's been a wild week, don't miss it!
Update: A riot as always -- and if you missed it, don't worry, as our regular podcast post will be up tomorrow.

Nice Droid information so far. Will be interesting if they release an update for the keyboard stuff.

(I didn't get this, it was pasted into the channel. Thanks to whoever it was accidentally refreshed and don't have the log).
For those that didn't see it in the uStream chat.

(the log only goes back so far so I don't remember the persons name, but thanks).
While I am near the top of the comment list, can some one explain why the Droid has no multi-touch from a patent standpoint and why the LG BL40, and LG Crystal and various other non Android phones do? I mean is the Idea of multi-touch patented or just the current methods of achieving it?
What do you think of WebOS vs. Android 2.0?
I am new to the smartphone arena and am a Sprint customer. I looked at the HTC Hero, Moment and Palm Pre. I will not look into any WinMo devices. Do you have any recommendations on which device is best? I am looking for a nice browser and smooth UI. Any comments?
IMHO Given your parameters - Smart phone on Sprint, no Winmo
Pre is the best option... especially at thew $149 price point - Moment is too big and thick; and the hero is great, but I can't get any work done w/o a keyboard. The android devices still feel a bit laggy too.. hopefully éclair can solve this :)
wait for the speed-update for webOS on the Pre before making your choice - just a tip :)
Woot?
why is Android 2.0 coming on the Droid and not all Android phones? I understand HTC needs to incorporate Sence UI, but the Moment is stock Android. Will this get the update? If so, when?
Really interested in the Droid after listening in. I get a new phone upgrade rebate at the end of the month so it's about time I ditch the LG Venus and go with a MotoDroid! :D
ps Verizon > AT&T service wise.
Why hasn't last week's show been released yet?
What? http://podcasts.engadget.com/rss.xml
The Engadget Show they taped last week hasn't appeared on the download feeds yet.
See one dated last week in that list.
Oh wait, crap. I've been misreading the titles. Never mind.
Sweet! Can't wait for some smartphone shootouts sometime.
Damn. I just had to go buy groceries today, didn't I?
Time and time again, I miss this because I don't have a clue when it'll come on. Is there a way to let us know in advance so we can somehow plan our day around the USTREAM?
cool
Please post a mobile video podcast as well: the Ballmer interview wasn't very iPhone viewable!
Where is this podcast? Its 8:30 Central Time on the 7th (saturday) and the podcast still hasn't been posted?
where is the podcast? I hope they didn't lose it again
Where is it? 11:15 pm CDT...
^^ I'm with these guys. How am I supposed to fill the meaningless existence of my life without the podcast?
+1
Well... it's sunday. Just about noon, too. So, uh, whats the deal?
Where be the podblast?
Don't tell me you guys lost the podcast again...
I'm gonna hulk out if I don't get the podcast before I have to go to the gym... maybe that would be a good thing...
