Wonder if you can play starcraft on it._.
@Outsider Then this is a must buy :)
Is it just me or does it look rather large?
@Kant
If Zack Morris from Saved By The Bell had a smartphone, this would be it!
@Kant
Yeah it is pretty big. If they can make about 1/3 smaller it'll be reasonable.
@Kant
R.T.F.A.
@Kant
That's what she said...
@shogunmaster Wow its really big! Not pocket friendly, not my friend...
@Kant
Maybe it's a six-year old holding that phone. Otherwise, that "phone" is freakin' huge. Running Windows XP it should run out of battery life in about an hour.
That monstrosity is not a phone. That is a MID
it wouldn't even fit in a pocket, so why is it called a phone?! it's almost as larg as a netbook.
@shu8i Netbook? No, it's closer to the subnotebooks in the size. I wonder why they choose this name. Xp on a phone? Why they don't use the nettable edition?
I guess I don't see the point in something like this. I'd rather have a form-factor that actually fits in the pocket, has a Snapdragon/Tegra under the hood, and has a mobile UI for the touch screen, and a regular desktop (running out via HDMI, keyboard/mouse via USB or bluetooth) to use when stationary.
Mobile is mobile, stationary is stationary. The device runs both, but the peripherals used are different. I don't need a big-ass screen on the go, just like I don't want a tiny screen when I'm sitting and using the computer for an hour.
There seems to be some odd cuts in the video.
That was pretty fast.
@kris120890
That's what she said!!111
The screen-to-bezel ratio is not good.
I think this thing is spectacular. Remember when it was uncool to have the latest technology? No? Just me? Well these guys have brought back the days of the databank watch, and I can't wait to regain the pride of being uncool again. Useful technology looks too damn cool lately. This is the real anti-iPhone, and me likey. It's ugly, impractical for normal people, and runs the best/worst/best MS OS ever. SP3, I hope. If it has an easily distorted, tiny speaker, I'm buying one.
@seven5suited
I was going to argue vehemently with you, but how do you argue against someone when every single one of your arguments "against" is their argument "for"?
@seven5suited Duct tape a piece of leather to it and it makes a nice watch. You will be the envy of everyone.
I won't buy one. I don't plan on carrying a "man-purse" just for something that isn't better than a BlackBerry.
@HardToBelieve
If it's a full functional PC than it can do what Blackberry, Droid and iPhone don't...
@(Unverified)
But it's not fully functional. It's like what you'd get if a Droid had children with a Dell. It's not a phone, but it's not a PC either. It's a halfbreed. of course, I am a bit of a cynic, when it comes to stuff like this. It might be better than what I've seen of it, who knows.
It's faster than my computer from 2 years ago.
The only phone that needs an anti-virus!
There is way too much bezel.
That's no phone! It's a space station!
an overweight dsi
you could build a house inside that monster
I would be curious to know how much horsepower does this little PC (hahahaha) has... It would work very nicely as a Apache server on a Round-Robin load balancing scheme, just with an integrated UPS and less Electricity used. Hmmmm.... interesting...
That's huge!
Here is one more video of the xpPhone, now the touchscreen & right clicking.

That is one big-ass phone!! I thought the big "Bricks" were out like 15 years ago?
this thing is huge!!! i'm gonna but it for sure but i'm not gonna use it as a phone never evar!! but it's really cool , and it can beat Sony Vaio's UX serries (small laptops) i'm just wondering when this thing is gonna release?
