Camangi WebStation lands in American hands, promptly unboxed on video
Well, well, it looks like Camangi's WebStation is finally making good on its shipments. The first of Gear Diary's two pre-orders arrived and the gang has been more than happy to put together quick unboxing video for us to enjoy. It's a pretty standard box with equally customary assortment of packaged accessories, suction cup stand (pictured) notwithstanding. The 7-inch Android tablet looks pretty matched with the Nook in terms of overall size, but by design that lends itself to having a larger overall screen. Not much in the way of impressions at this point, but if you're the type of person who can be satisfied with a video and a handful of product / comparison shots, hit up Gear Diary for the still frames and stay tuned after the break for the "moving pictures" version.

ANYWAY....
That's right, everyone get their crap tablets released before the big boy shows up and makes the tech world forget you even exist.
@Steve Jobs CEO spare us Steve Jobs
lol, Good one, Steve.
@Steve Jobs CEO
I hope you make an awesome tablet, because if it becomes popular then the world will start caring about tablets in general...then a barrage of competing cheaper but not as premium tablets will come out and take up 90 percent of the tablet market.
@Steve Jobs CEO Go chug a dozen bottles of Thunderbird won't ya?
@N900 well you can't blame the guy, the image still on the youtube player shows her ..........
the webstation itself seems alright. i have absolutely no need for a tablet/e-reader sorta deal but for some people, this may be nice
@Shootingblue
Definitely voted this comment up.

Looks like Tina Fey.
I honestly had trouble paying attention to what she was saying her breasts in that black tee were so distracting, I had to watch the video twice to actually see the device.
Either that's a very good bra, or her husband is a very lucky man.
@Dinochicken Twice?! I had to scroll the top of the video off screen to concentrate on the device.
I hate people that unbox and don't show what the device is like to use. I don't care whats in the box, its pointless
@Hydra well the lady said she'll put up a review with some other dude soon so I'm guessing she's building up the suspense ha
WOW
.... O yeah and the tablet thing is alright
its $400 :(:(:(:(
@Shootingblue
Dude, you ain't kidding. As a red blooded American boy I STILL don't know what that Camangi thing is all about 'cuz that double whammy background is scrambling my hormones!
Doesn't look all that dissimilar to the new OLPC concept tablet. Why isn't this being panned by critics? The OLPC version was.
I for one welcome our New MILF unboxing overlords. We need more of these on the internets.
@Shootingblue
Same here the background isn't constant as the lighting shows and it is somewhat larger than the product she is describing but it's a plus... Is the videographer recording using the 4:3 rule as the background tends to be in those areas?
Well at least she narrates with some enthusiasm about the product unlike those others who speak in a monotone voice. Need more enthusiastic females unboxing and narrating products and also overshadows the product...
@Shootingblue
Was about to post the same thing, scrolled down and..
Hers came first - Yay!!!!
Is that a regular thing?
You know - I HAVE NEVER seen an unboxing video that was the least bit interesting - even on gadgets I LUST for. People just don't know how do DO them.
Here is a hint... PRE-UNBOX. Discover a real dialogue. I am tired of the "natural reaction" and pointless size comparrisons to objects 1/10 the size.
Here is another hint - TEAR the box open, and BOOT the damn thing. Worry about the size and ports for the end. This is one of those instances where you DO NOT want to save the best for last.
I watched it twice and never saw Judie's box. Unfair!
@joelaf
did you mean the rectangular box in the background...
My harsh review of it is at: http://www.tomorrowland.com/2009/12/29/camangi-webstation/
I really wanna see this ladies beaver.... who cares about the Camangi!
