Announcing the First Annual Joystiq Blueberry Muffin Tops Breakfast at PAX East

Little did Team Penny Arcade know that by hosting PAX on our native East Coast, they'd be opening their event up to all kinds of Joystiq shennanigans. We'd like to announce the first today: The First Annual Joystiq Blueberry Muffin Tops Breakfast, brought to you by your fine friends at Malt-O-Meal.

No, this is not a joke. If you're a PAX East attendee, then Saturday, March 27, for the low low price of free, you can join your friends from Joystiq as we collectively enjoy the planet's finest cereal: Blueberry Muffin Tops. The only catch? You're going to have to have one of 600 bracelets that will be distributed at the show. If you want details on how you can get one, you can find them after the jump. You're also gonna want to head to the event's Facebook page and follow it on Twitter: @JoystiqBBMT.

If you think that's great (and it is, make no mistake) wait until you see what else we have planned ...

First off, thank you so much to Malt-O-Meal's Blueberry Muffin Tops for sponsoring this event, it absolutely would not have been possible without their support and delicious, delicious cereal.

Details of the event: Due to the overwhelming number of people coming to PAX East and the fact that the room can only hold 300 people at a time, we've decided to implement a bracelet system for entry. To obtain the bracelet, we'll post Alexander Sliwinski's location and picture here at Joystiq.com on Facebook and on Twitter @JoystiqBBMT at 6 a.m. on Saturday morning. He'll be in very close proximity to the convention center. To obtain a bracelet you'll need to show your PAX East badge to him when he arrives at 8 a.m., as the breakfast will occur within the convention center. You'll receive one of two colored bracelets and the specific location of the event at that time. One color will be able to get into the room from 9-9:50AM, the next group from 10-11AM. First-come, first-served and you'll be able to select which time you prefer at that time (if that bracelet color is still available). Also: One per person, which means you shouldn't send a friend to pick yours up. Thank you everyone for your enthusiasm and we look forward to seeing you that morning!
