THE BLACK EYED PEAS: THE E.N.D. WORLD TOUR 2010 CONCERT

PREMIERES ON EPIX MAY 15 AT 10:00 PM EDT

Interactive community viewing event open to fans on EpixHD.com

New York, NY – May 12, 2010 – The Black Eyed Peas' highly anticipated sold out concert tour, "The E.N.D. World Tour 2010" will make its world television premiere on May 15 at 10 pm EDT on EPIX, the multiplatform premium entertainment service. The concert will play in SD and HD on the EPIX television channel, video on demand service and online at www.EpixHD.com. To celebrate the premiere, the event will be available to all fans in the EPIX Event Theatre, a special online interactive community experience on www.EpixHD.com where over 1000 viewers can share, comment and react to the concert together. The shared viewing event is also scheduled for May 15 at 10 pm EDT.

Filmed at two sold-out shows in the band's hometown at L.A.'s Staples Center on March 29th and 30th, the Peas performed their biggest hits and transformed the arena into a massive club party proving The Energy Never Dies with state of the art lasers, staging, lights, HD visuals, flying stunts and six world class dancers that will be a visual assault on the senses for EPIX viewers. The six time Grammy award winning artists kicked off "The E.N.D. World Tour 2010 presented by BlackBerry® with Bacardi™ as the Official Spirit" in Japan in September in support of the band's latest multiplatinum #1 album, The E.N.D. (The Energy Never Dies). Entertainment Weekly.com raved, "Any act that can fill a stadium with that much glee deserves respect." "They push the boundaries of what it means to be one of the top-selling acts in music today," added Spin.com.

EPIX Event Theatre is powered by its Social TV partner, ClipSync, which will provide viewers with unique social tools, including live polls, live comments and fun "interactables" which connote laughing, applauding, a lighter, rock horns, hearts, kisses and more. Viewers will be able to engage in these social activities as the concert is being broadcast real-time on EPIX.

"We are proud to present the world class talent of The Black Eyed Peas" said EPIX President & CEO Mark Greenberg, "and we embrace the celebration of change as EPIX is redefining the entertainment experience for our highly engaged audience, harnessing all emerging platforms to engage the next generation of premium viewers."

The Black Eyed Peas are the latest in a growing slate of A-list music and comedy artists featured in EPIX original event programming including Madonna, Kings of Leon, Lewis Black, Eddie Izzard, David Cross, among others.
