For Gnomeregan! Who's your daddy?

For Gnomeregan! is where the members of <B.L.O.G.> on Shadow Council (US-RP-A) roleplay guild meetings as part of an in-blog and in-game RP campaign. The rules for this campaign are no ERP (Erotic RolePlay) and no vampires (though death knights are welcome). Everyone is invited to participate. Assume that to get into the guild, you at least pretended to be in full use of your faculties and are willing to fight for the cause. You are all welcome to join us here in the comments and those who wish to play with us in-game should friend Peenk and ask for an invite on Shadow Council (US-RP-A).

Hey! It's Peenk! Remember me? I'm toning down my dialect again so that I am more easily understood. I have been informed that leaders should try to ... ah whatever. BORING. Anyway, I'd like to know a bit about your families. Who are your parents? Are they alive? Do they support the cause? Do they support you? Where are they? Are these enough questions? Do you want more? How about beer? Yeah, I know you want that.

My immediate family were taking their yearly extended vacation in a not to be disclosed location when Gnomeregan was taken over. They remain in our vacation home, practicing the magic arts and producing supplies for retaking our home/business. As I have mentioned before, I do not have any magical talents and they are very disappointed in that. But they are happy that I have taken up the family professions of alchemy and herbalism.

Before you begin, I have an assignment for you. Actually, it's my cousin Kixi's assignment. She's so ... militant. Fires! She wants you all to take advantage of the Midsummer Fire Festival to gain power, skill, funds, and all of the other benefits of the holiday. She says it's an excellent time to take a break from your normal training, while still preparing for the offensive. So go forth and participate and then tell us all about your results at the next meeting.

Ok, bring up your mug (I heard what happened a couple weeks ago) and we have kegs for your refreshment and to loosen your tongues.

Please join us by telling us about your character's parents, a story from your leveling this past week (real or imagined), a lesson you've learned or something else of interest while staying in character. If you are new, why have you joined the army? All the World's a Stage is a great resource and this guest post by Anna is a must-read for making new characters.
