Boost Mobile adds $2-a-day unlimited everything option

For voice and data alike, "unlimited" is a major buzzword among value carriers like Cricket, Virgin Mobile, and Boost Mobile lately -- and when they can offer it for $10 or $20 less than the big guys, why shouldn't it be? Boost is slicing the unlimited option in a new way this week with the announcement that it's now offering unlimited nationwide voice, messaging, web, IM, email, and information for $2 a day, which if our rough math is correct, works out to $60 a month. That's $10 a more than you pay if you just bite the bullet and prepay on a monthly basis, but obviously it's a heck of a lot more flexible, too -- and with these prepaid guys, flexibility is king. Boost Mobile Provides Additional Flexibility and Choice with a $2 Daily Unlimited Plan

Consumers can now get unlimited nationwide talk, text,
picture messaging, Web, e-mail and calls to 411 for $2 per day

IRVINE, Calif. – Boost Mobile is providing even greater choice and flexibility with the launch of a $2 daily unlimited plan. Wireless consumers can now enjoy daily access to the worry-free benefits of Boost's monthly plan, including unlimited nationwide talk, text, picture messaging, e-mail and calls to 411.

"The new $2 Daily Unlimited plan exemplifies what prepaid is all about – offering a daily offer with all the benefits of the Monthly Unlimited plan without having to compromise on quality and service," said Neil Lindsay, chief marketing officer, Boost Mobile. "Now consumers have the flexibility and choice of a daily or monthly unlimited offer on a nationwide network. This new offer is just another way Boost Mobile is giving freedom of use and control back to wireless users across the nation."

With Daily Unlimited there are no extra fees, contracts or credit checks. A daily $2 subscription charge is automatically deducted from the customer's Boost account each day after midnight (based on customer's time zone), regardless of usage, unless the customer cancels the subscription. In order to keep service active, the total daily payment amount must be successfully prepaid each day.
