Cataclysm Live Beta Stream: The Alliance edition of Choose My Adventure

Choose the adventures of WoW Insider's Robin Torres as she levels multiple alts in the Cataclysm beta, live every Monday and Wednesday at 1 p.m. EDT.

Hello and welcome to the live version of Choose My Adventure (beta edition). It's Monday, so the stream will be Alliance-flavored. The winner of the polls was Peenk, the gnome priestess, so I will be continuing her adventures today ... unless the worgen female I made actually starts looking female in game. I don't know. I'm impatient. I'll probably put it up for a live vote.

Join me after the break while I narrate, read quests and take requests from the chat room. The show will run for at least an hour and be viewable on video, if you weren't able to watch it live. Also after the break is the poll for next week's Alliance character and a recap of last week's fun.

Recap

Last week's Choose My Adventure featured the beginning adventures of Roblinator, the goblin shaman. I completely lost track of time. We were an hour and a half in before I realized that, gosh, maybe I ought to wrap things up. It really was so much fun. We ended the quests just before the bugged one where you leave the initial questing zone. Here are some notes:

• No, I have never seen Jersey Shore, nor do I ever plan to.

• There have been some good changes since the last time I ran through. Very good changes. /squee

• Lightning Bolts are fun! I think my boredom with the shaman class is over.

• Trade Princess Roblinator. I like the way that rolls out. Trade. Princess. Roblinator.

• Bostonian and British accents seem to creep in to my Goblin/Jersey accent.

• I'm a excellent terrible driver.

• Warning: I get a little preachy in there about node etiquette.

• There are pirates.

• There's a party.

• There are hot rods.

• There is bling.

• You gotta have blue hair!

• Even if you don't want to play a goblin alt, I highly recommend doing the first few levels when Cataclysm comes out, just for fun.
