Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, Driver: San Francisco delayed [Update]

Ubisoft's latest earnings release brings news of delays for both Driver: San Francisco and Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. "Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Future Soldier and Driver: San Francisco, which were previously planned for release in the fourth fiscal quarter, will now be included in the 2011-12 line-up," the report notes. Ubisoft's fourth fiscal quarter runs from January through the end of March 2011, putting the releases of both games somewhere in April 2011 or later.

Both Driver and Ghost Recon had already been delayed into the previous "early 2011" timeframe, making this the second announced delay for both titles. At this rate, Ubisoft is going to have to change Ghost Recon's title to "Ghost Recon: Soldier."

Update: Senior Community Developer Kimi Matsuzaki confirms that the beta will still be offered, "and it will be happening closer to the new release date."
