god what pieces of crap
I know the Moneual HTPC won't win, but if you saw it in person, you'd be just blown away at how utterly awful it was.
@CRA1G
But it has diamonds! DIAAAAMOOOONDS!!!!
@CRA1G
The Phubby might be useful for joggers, at least, but that Moneual shit ... ugh .....
@Colin S
given the right conditions, those diamonds would make a pretty effective DEATH LAZER!
@CRA1G
While all of these are deserving of the title crapgadget, only one fails so spectacularly in marketing. Thats why "the fingerist" gets my vote.
I thought the polar bear TV was very intuitive.
@yoavraccah
I'd buy it, if it could be had at a reasonable price.
But HELL no on the heel speakers. I think everyone would be offended with a gift like that.
I voted on the Polar Bear TV.
But that Phubby thing was an idea similar to one by Matt Morgan when he was doing Radio 2 shows with Russell Brand... Except his was a sock with a pocket on for Nurses.
I don't even know why I thought about that.
It's a... close one?
I voted on the Phubby.
It just seems like an utter piece of failure
I've voted for the HTPC... but i still think we need another category for expensive crapgadgets ;)
I was prepared to vote for the shoes, but then I saw a PC that makes the Apple tax seem nonexistent.
Do we have to vote for only one?
Phubby is worst. I would prefer to keep the phone in my pocket and "feel the vibration" there.
Engadget called the DV a crapgadget? sheesh.
If the shoes were Bayonetta gun shoes, then they'd be genuinely brilliant.
Lady GaGa called, she wants her shoes back
@DariaMorgendorffer
and Polar Bear TV
@DariaMorgendorffer and the HTPC that she will use as a hat in the next MTV Awards.
What's with the shoes?
It was a toss up between the HTPC and The Fingerist, but I went with The Fingerist. The name is what tipped the scales.
What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
At least there's truth in advertising for the GoScam
I wanted to see the polar bear TV and have my photo taken next to this overnight legend. Unfortunately, we could find Hannspree on the exhibitor list.
It's a bit late now, but where the hell were they?
I went for Manuel's $45K car audio bass-tube with integrated PC.
Polar Bear TV: Hey, I can watch TV, and at 720P. Not bad.
Phubby: I can deal aces from it.
Fingerist: Can double as an iPhone protective case.
Gimme Tunes: Who doesn't need another pair of speakers?
Bodycam/DV: That could accidentally get lost in a ladies locker room.
But Manuel's HTPC? Why it won my pick:
1. It won't fit in your audio rack or in fact, anywhere near any audio gear
2. In it's spec it cites that the audio card has a built in 6 watt amp. Like I would have money left over for the Gimme Tunes front channels.
3. I'm out $45,000 dollars.
@Neros Fiddle yeah, but it's not called "The Fingerist"
