Panasonic prices Lumix DMC-TS2, DMC-ZS5, DMC-ZS7 and DMC-ZR3 cameras
Remember that smattering of Lumix compacts that Panasonic outed at the tail end of last month? Four of the five just got pricing details handed out, and all four are expected to be in stores in the middle of next month. The Lumix DMC-TS2 -- which is the most rugged of the bunch -- will list for $399.95, while the DMC-ZS7 and DMC-ZS5 will go for $399.95 and $299.95, respectively. The DMC-ZR3 and its 8x optical zoomer will also sell for a nickel under $300, while the DMC-FX66 remains stuck in the land of mystery and mystique. Hit up the source link if you need specifics on each, cool?

Cool brah.
I see no reason why the ZS7 is priced $50 more than the Casio FH100, Canon SX210, or Sony HX5.
@jayayess1190 Neither do I, but i'm still going to buy the ZS7. It's the best one for me.
Why AVCHD? Why can't they just do plain H.264 mp4/mov?
@pika2000
AVCHD doesn't take as much space.
That's great and all, but how about an LX4?
they should really do H264.
not a big fan of anything LITE, takes away from the quality.
The prices for the TS2 were out a couple of weeks ago already:

Which is the best for indoor photos, low-light situtations?
Really don't know which camera to get. TX7 or HX5 are on the top of my list, but I'm a noob when it comes to cameras and there are so many good choices.
The ZS3 is going for only $229 at Amazon now. Just placed an order yesterday. Unless you really want GPS & 2 more megapixels, i'd say go for the ZS3 over the ZS5 & ZS7...
So only difference between last years TS1 and new TS2 is the 2 megapixel increase?
I'll get the TS1 for $250.
@fincan
They upped the waterproofing spec as well. The TS1 was good to 10ft, the TS2 goes to 30?
@nessie Oh I didn't notice that, thanks for pointing that out :)
@pachi72 My understanding is that the ZS3 does unlimited recording. Does your's not do that?
